Let me start by saying, jadoo tv is a useless device. you will not see any Pay Per View's or premium channels by buying this device. you can watch few Indian channels on it (not all of them), with poor quality and they go up and down constantly with allot of buffering. This product is totally overpriced. if it was around $20 then it’s worth buying (maybe). How to Watch Free TV if you just want to watch few channels online, then you don’t need this device, you can watch Indian channels live on Bollywood Songs etc. or just Google it, you will see 100z of sites. How Jadoo Tv Works Basically it uses your internet connection, so you must have a Fast Internet ISP. then it connects itself to its server(which streams channels) and streams them for you, which is same as if you were watching these channels on your computer. You can buy yourself a PS3 and have Ps3 stream internet for you (at least you getting a blu-ray player and gaming console for this price). You are also running into a risk where a device connects itself to internet, and your computers IP address could be saved and reported back to legal authorities. My advice is to stay away from this device, its overpriced, it's not 100% legal, it lags alot and offers only few useless channels. I can’t really provide a list of 100% valid channels, since every other day they are been taking down (upon legal notice). Sooner or later all channels will disappear from their server. UPDATE: ALL SOUTH ASIAN CHANNELS ARE DOWN ON JADOO TV. THEY ARE BEEN SUED., they are trying to find more illegal ways to stream channels on their device... which i am sure will last for another couple of weeks. please save your money.

| This is so true that JADOO TV Sucks.. every single day i have to add my favorite chanelsand in a day or two they are again not available.. i hate it.. please let me knwo if someone can help me to get Star+ and zee TV . i just want these 2 channels.. i wasted my Money and can't waste more on Dish again.. any help is appreciated. |

Try KhanZone.com , or maybe better solution is to say good bye to Jadoo Tv and Dish and get yourself nFusion,Kbox or SonicView and use their iKS Technology to get all channels for FREE, including PPV,South Asian & English premimum channels. |

Unfortunately, There is no website which can play Pakistani/Indian channels for a week and does not go down.
iDesiTv is been taken down.
KhanZone.com plays somewhat Desi Channels.
Jadoo Tv streams above and few more sites. so if those sites are down jadoo Tv is down as well.
Only Solution left behind is trying IKS Box, which can work but risky. Read Nag3 article on this site for more info on IKS.

I agree with you 100%. There is no sure solution. However, being an IT professional like you are, I am sure that every single pakistani network (GEO, ARY, etc.) is streaming their programming (at a very nice bitrate).
The key is finding what the mms stream location is.

| Bought the jadoo device today, I got sold into the dealer's line "you can get rid of your cable and dish". I thought that would be awesome, paid 250 for the HD that amounts to one month of my cable and dish bill. I had never heard of this device or seen it working, I went to the shop for something totally unrelated. I bought it thinking it will be a reasonable alternative for cable and dish, but it's really not. It may appeal to someone who isn't computer savy (can't watch the free channels online) doesn't have cable/dish and wants something desi on conventional technology such as a regular tv. Although it is a bit pricey for what it does, it would have been worth it had it streamed all channels in HD, but that's not the case. There are only a few live tv desi channels, mostly European and some American, and that's where you may get lucky with some quality, some of it is poor like you're watching internet videos on low resolution but not all of the channels are like that. I did not experience any streaming issues as some have stated (I have Comcast 20mbps) but I haven't used jadoo much either, I'm about 5 hours into it. As most people fear this may be an illegal activity, that may or may not be true. I took a chance knowing nothing about this device and haven't come to a conclusion if it was a waste of money. Although I don't watch much tv, the device will keep my mother entertained. I tried to get the dealer to say he'll take it back if it doesn't work (at the time of purchase) and he dodged the bullet several times, so I'm not hoping for any returns or exchanges. I like having the mobility of the device (I can take it to another location to watch sports) but I have no clue how the streams would act on a big day. I hope this helps someone who's looking for information on jadoo tv. |

Jadoo Tv is a total piece of crap. Too bad, that dumb ass Indian had money off our asses. Really we all who bought this shit are dumb asses and not that "dumb ass Indian" who is laughing all the way to his bank.
Is tehre any desi lawyer bhai who can whoop up class action law suit agains these bastards? Only lawyers can come up with that legal mumbo jumbo. WHo knows if we win we might just get our $10 back after all the lawyer fees. |

| i agree with previous comments.it is too good to be true.i am sure it is not legal and quality of the programs cannot be as good as regular tv.i am positive there will be no more "jadoo ka dabba" in use as the legal notices are served on the company,who will have to take these channels off,one by one. |
