So I purchased jadoo2 / Jadoo 2 box last week, I've seen Original Jadoo Box already, So I think my post will help people better understand the difference b/w these two boxes.

There is Nothing promising which could make anyone buy Jadoo2. This is another quick trick by Jadoo team to make QUICK CASH.

Jadoo2 has SAME channels as Original Jadoo

Jadoo2 has same lagging issues

Jadoo2 has NOTHING that jadoo 1 did not had (in terms of channels etc)

What Jadoo2 Has is....

Support for WIRELESS N network
and Self-Proclaimed 1080p HD Support.

Let’s Talk about WIRELESS N support first.

Wireless N.... really a useless feature, nobody really wanted wireless N or demanded it. jadoo team just added it to make people think this will increase the speed of their box. Now Fact about N Technology.... Yes it is a Better Wireless Technology, however you also need compatible ROUTER also to pair them together. even if you have Wireless N Router and Jadoo2 box, you will not see any significant difference. So this feature could easily be ignored.

HD Support in Jadoo2

Now this feature really PISSES me off, not ONE SINGLE DESI channel has true 720/1080p support, all desi channels are OLD SCHOOL 420i SD's. Jadoo really needs to stop advertising this feature. if a channel is not HD how can you make it HD? its same like make a Car FLY if it does not have Airplane Engine. only thing that is HD in jadoo2 is their Channel Menu. They will make a fool at you by giving you HDMI cables while there is no HD Channels.

Now my advice..... Both Jadoo & Jadoo2 / Jadoo 2 are Illegal devices, many people are under this impression that it’s a LEGAL device. Legal actions against jadoo could be taken ANYTIME.

so please use it at your own risk.

@jadd2_abt can u tell me that uve Star Plus in ur Jadoo Box? if yes then is it live from India or its coming from UK & wat should i do coz before it was live from India like other Channels but now its not & i requested again & again to make it live again but i think nobody here is ready to help or solve this prob.... as its coming from UK so all shows epis have difference of two weeks or more from Indian epis & really irritating to watch i watched shows almost for two weeks or more on Jadoo but after that im having prob with Star Plus its one of my fav channels but not coming live dont know y can u plz help me regarding it?

I have bought the Jadoo2, and so have some friends and family. I have had it for over a month now. I have canceled my dish network subscription which is saving me $60 a month! Yes it is not as clear as Dish, but still, like you said, its old school, so it is not really any more clear on dish then it is on Jadoo2. I have no lagging issues, as of now. I do not have a "N" router, but still no problems. I do still get GEO and ARY and all other main channels, in addition, I can add my own channels. Is it worth $290? Yea, its worth it. But not more then that. As long as we can continue to watch our Cricket matches on there, we dont need it for anything else. Good Luck and dont be a hater.

Well............JADOO is NOT all that BAD. It seems like you had a bad day with them, in both your posts you are very sure that it is about to happen now (Legal action) which has not happened yet, all the channels are up and running too, well being pissed is ok but being a smart ass, NO ONE LIKES IT...........

You guys are crazy, jadoo is amazing. Its quality is amazing compared to what others offer. I cant believe what they are talking about. It rarely buffers and you access to YES, CBS, CNN, and other basic Channels, as well as countless Pakistani and Indian chanels. It has movies and songs from almost all Desi singers. This is more of a Desi (Indian/Pakistani) device. Amazing!

Okay first of all the jadoo wireless feature will run really fast if u have a N-____ series router from netgear or cisco

i really do not have any of jadoo boxes, what i see from a post up there one user has mentioned its not only desi channels which you can see its also western channels. if jadoo box supports HD and you are watching desi channels why are you using jadoo box at all, but when they come free, why not use whats free, and free is almost always good. Whatsoever the difference between watching channels on dish and jadoobox must have smallest difference.

i have jadoo box for more then 1 year i have saved over 1000$ i am happy we see only news channels some time movies what els is there to watch? Cricket World cup is not ok to watch it free or pay some dish or cable compney over 100 $ for same thing. enjoy becase i am enjoying it good luck all those who wanna spend money for same thing i am watching for free now.

This device is really a surprise for the Japanese Customer and here there is no such speed problem so most of the channel with the movies and dramas we really congratulate its invention. Regarding the wireless just a blessing otherwise I will have much problem. I can view it in my 1st floor Tv or with the projector outside in my garden and with my LCD monitor. Its just great for me. For Japanese a lowest priced digital entertainer in home environment

A close friend of me bought Jadoo2. Almost all the channels are gone by now. Jadoo is a illegal box. I felt a heartbreak sympathy to these people who lately bought Jadoo box or Jadoo2 box. What surprises me that Jadoo Box distributers are still advertising for its sale. My suggestion is: - never trust the Desi people, "To lie is their religeous belief." As an Hindu a Indian has to lie; otherwise he is not a Hindu.

If we are able to add our own channels to jadoo box, is it still worth getting? I really want to get rid of my dish bill and im ok with putting up with hassle of adding new channel streams to the device as long as they are available. Any current jadoo tv owners care to chime in?

to: Ike it used to be good, but now almost 70% channels are gone. if you ONLY after few paki channels HUM,Express GEO News(uptime is 65%) and Bollywood movies then get it, otherwise its not for you.
